      extended by org.qtitools.qti.node.AbstractObject

All Implemented Interfaces:
java.io.Serializable, XmlNode, XmlObject, Validatable

public class OutcomeProcessing
extends AbstractObject

Outcome processing takes place each time the candidate submits the responses for an item (when in individual submission mode) or A group of items (when in simultaneous submission mode). It happens after any (item level) response processing triggered by the submission. The values of the test's outcome variables are always reset to their defaults prior to carrying out the instructions described by the outcomeRules. Because outcome processing happens each time the candidate submits responses the resulting values of the test-level outcomes may be used to activate test-level feedback during the test or to control the behaviour of subsequent parts through the use of preConditions and branchRules.

Method Detail

getClassTag

public java.lang.String getClassTag()
Description copied from interface: XmlNode
Gets QTI class name of this node.

QTI class name has very important role during loading/saving nodes.

For example: Java class name is AssessmentTest; QTI class name is assessmentTest.

Specified by:
getClassTag in interface XmlNode
Specified by:
getClassTag in class AbstractNode
Returns:
QTI class name of this node

getOutcomeRules

public java.util.List<OutcomeRule> getOutcomeRules()
Gets outcomeRule children.

Returns:
outcomeRule children

validateChildren

protected ValidationResult validateChildren()
Description copied from class: AbstractNode
Validates children (body) of this node.

Overrides:
validateChildren in class AbstractNode
Returns:
result of validation

evaluate

public void evaluate()
